Age and Dose Restrictions

• The use of Lidocaine / Lignocaine + Nifedipine is intended for adults and children above 12 years of age.

Contraindications

• Lidocaine / Lignocaine + Nifedipine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either lidocaine or nifedipine, or any component of the formulation.
• Patients with liver disease, heart disease, low blood pressure, and bleeding disorders should not use this medication.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with other lidocaine products, Class I antiarrhythmic medicines (such as tocainide and mexiletine), ergot alkaloids, and oral hypoglycaemic agents.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Lidocaine / Lignocaine + Nifedipine may lead to severe dizziness or fainting, irregular heartbeat, severe skin irritation or blistering. If you suspect an overdose, inform your doctor immediately.
• If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to catch up.

• Lidocaine / Lignocaine + Nifedipine may cause dizziness. Therefore, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel dizzy after applying this medicine.
