• Lornoxicam + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is taken orally in the form of tablets and effervescent sachets.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.

Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lornoxicam or Paracetamol/acetaminophen. It is also contraindicated for individuals with a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions triggered by aspirin or other NSAIDs. Patients with active or recurrent peptic ulcer/hemorrhage should not use this medicine. It is contraindicated for those with severe heart failure, hepatic failure, or renal failure.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with anticoagulants (such as dabigatran and warfarin), antiplatelets (like clopidogrel and aspirin), diuretics (including furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide), lithium, methotrexate, antihypertensives (ACE inhibitors like lisinopril, ARBs like losartan, beta-blockers such as propranolol), and corticosteroids (such as betamethasone and prednisone).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Lornoxicam + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen may lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, dizziness, and in severe cases, hepatic necrosis. Immediate medical intervention is crucial.
• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Management of Side Effects
