Lung infections:
Amoxil 500 capsule is highly effective in treating Lung infections, such as acute bacterial sinusitis, community-acquired pneumonia, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.
Urinary tract infections:
Amoxil 500 capsule is also commonly prescribed to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible bacteria. UTIs are usually caused by gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Skin infections:
Skin and soft tissue infections occur when bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Amoxil 500 Capsule treats all skin infections, including abscesses (puss pockets) caused by bacteria.
Ear infections:
Amoxil 500 capsule is commonly recommended to treat ear infections, such as acute otitis media and chronic otitis media.
Dental Infections:
Amoxil 500 MG Capsule treats bacterial tooth infections and stops them from spreading further. It is also prescribed to treat dental infections, such as abscesses and periodontitis. A tooth abscess is caused by bacteria from an untreated cavity, decay, or injury.
Gastrointestinal tract infections:
A peptic ulcer is inflammation of the stomach or intestine lining. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria cause ulcers. Amoxil 500 MG Capsule is combined with antacids/anti-ulcerative medicines for treating H. pylori infections that cause peptic ulcers. Amoxil 500 Capsule also effectively treats gastrointestinal tract infections, such as acute infectious diarrhoea and bacterial gastroenteritis.
Amoxil for typhoid fever:
Amoxil 500 capsule may be prescribed as an antibiotic treatment for typhoid fever caused by the Salmonella typhi bacteria.
Amoxil capsule for throat infection:
Infections like pharyngitis and tonsillitis cause swelling and soreness in the throat and tonsils. Amoxil 500 MG Capsule treats pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngotonsillitis (when the infection affects both the pharynx and the tonsils).
