Asthakind DX Syrup is used to manage the symptoms of several health issues, including:

• Common cold: A viral infection that affects the upper respiratory tract causing congestion, coughing and sore throat.

• Allergies: An overreaction of the immune system to substances like pollen, dust mites or animal dander, resulting in symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

• Hay fever: Allergic rhinitis caused by allergens like pollen or dust.

• Sinusitis: Inflammation of the sinuses due to bacterial or viral infection causing nasal congestion and pain around the nose and eyes.

• Bronchitis: Inflammation of the bronchial tubes caused by a viral or bacterial infection leading to coughing with mucus production.

• Shake well before use.

• Measure the dose using the provided measuring cup.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose or take it more often than prescribed.

Asthakind DX Syrup contains three active ingredients — chlorpheniramine maleate (2 mg), dextromethorphan hydrobromide (15 mg) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (5 mg). They all work together to relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections:

• Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, thus providing relief from allergy symptoms.

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is an antitussive that suppresses non-productive cough associated with a cold by decreasing the activity of the cough centre in the brain.

• Store Asthakind DX Syrup in a cool and dry place.
