Astin 20 Tablet is part of a class of drugs known as statins. It's used to lower cholesterol and lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. Cholesterol is a fatty substance that builds up in your blood vessels, restricting them and increasing your risk of a heart attack or stroke.
When used as directed by a doctor, Astin 20 Tablet is a widely prescribed drug that is considered safe for long-term usage. It can be consumed either with food or on an empty stomach. It can be taken at any time of day, but try to take it at the same time every day. Although most people with high cholesterol do not feel ill, quitting your medicine could raise your cholesterol levels, increasing your risk of heart disease and stroke.

Astin 20 Tablet is a cholesterol-lowering drug (statin). It works by inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA-reductase, which is necessary for the body to produce cholesterol. As a result, it lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing "good" cholesterol levels (HDL).
