Atorva 40 Tablet are usually safe when prescribed by a doctor. However, it can cause some side effects. The common Atorva 40 Tablet side effect includes. 

• Muscle pain  
• Headache
• diarrhoea 
• Upset stomach  
• Nausea 
• Muscle spasms  

Managing the Side effects

• Muscle pain: Gently massage the area with warm mustard or coconut oil.
• Headache: Drink plenty of water and rest in a quiet, dark room. Apply a cold compress to the forehead or temples to get relief.
• Diarrhoea: Drink fluids like coconut water, buttermilk, or lemonade to stay hydrated. You can also eat ice with yoghurt to ease the symptom.
• Upset stomach and nausea: Sip ginger tea or chew on a small piece of ginger to soothe the stomach. You can also drink peppermint tea or have a tablespoon of fennel seeds with warm water.
• Muscle spasms: Have a cup of warm milk with a pinch of turmeric and honey before bedtime.

Precautions

PREGNANCY

Atorva 40 Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy due to the risk of foetal harm. Do not take Atorva 40 Tablets during pregnancy until prescribed by a doctor.

BREASTFEEDING

Atorva 40 Tablet is not recommended during breastfeeding. Do not take Atorva 40 Tablets during breastfeeding until prescribed by a doctor.

ALCOHOL

Alcohol should be strictly avoided with Atorva 40 Tablet. It can increase the risk of severe side effects due to Atorva 40 Tablet.

LIVER

Atorva 40 Tablet should be cautiously used in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustments may be required in patients with liver disease. If you have a severe liver problem, consult your doctor about the dose before taking Atorva 40 Tablet.

KIDNEY

Atorva 40 Tablet should be cautiously used in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be required in patients with kidney disease. If you have a severe kidney problem, consult your doctor about the dose before taking Atorva 40 Tablet.

USING MACHINES AND DRIVING

Atorva 40 Tablet will not likely affect your mental or physical abilities required for using machines or driving. Still, avoiding doing any attentive task is recommended if you experience any side effects after taking Atorva 40 Tablet.

ALLERGY

The allergic reaction to Atorva 40 Tablet includes swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat, breathing or swallowing problems, fainting or feeling dizzy, very rapid heartbeat, severe skin rash or itching and flu-like symptoms including fever, sore throat, cough, tiredness. You should not take it if you are allergic to Atorva 40 Tablet ingredients. To avoid allergic reactions, read the label and check the ingredients before taking Atorva 40 Tablet.

USE IN CHILDREN

Atorva 40 Tablet is not intended for children below ten years of age.

USE IN OLDER PATIENTS
