Carnisure 500 is primarily indicated in levocarnitine deficiency (levocarnitine is a protein substance which is important for energy production). This medication is also used to stimulate the secretions of the stomach and pancreas in hyperlipoproteinemia (characterised by excess blood fat levels). It is a naturally occurring substance inside the body and belongs to the “nutritional supplement” class of drugs.

The primary function of L-carnitine, which is an active ingredient in Carnisure tablets, is to convert fat into an energy form. Levocarnitine is produced in the liver and kidney, and is stored in various organs such as the heart, brain, skeletal muscles, and sperm within the human body.
