Composition

Cinitapride (1 Mg)

Ciniviz Tablet is primarily used to treat mild-to-moderate dysmotility-type dyspepsia (a digestive disorder). It belongs to the group of medicines called gastroprokinetic and antiemetic agents.

It can also be used as an adjunct treatment for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who have not responded to proton pump inhibitors. It regulates the movement of food through the digestive tract, helping to improve digestion and alleviate associated symptoms such as bloating and indigestion.

Ciniviz Tablet is used for the following:

Mild-to-moderate dysmotility-type dyspepsia: Helps improve gastric emptying and reduces symptoms of indigestion.
Adjunct treatment for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD): Used in patients whose symptoms are not controlled by proton pump inhibitors alone.

Swallow Ciniviz Tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
Take the tablet at fixed times each day to maintain a consistent level of medication.

Ciniviz Tablet is taken orally.

Common side effects of Ciniviz Tablet include:

Nausea
Abdominal discomfort or pain
Diarrhoea
Headache
Dizziness

Pregnancy
