Daktarin Gel 20 GM

Daktarin Gel is used in the following conditions:

• Athlete's foot (Tinea pedis): It is a common fungal infection that affects the feet, causing itching, burning, scaling, and discomfort. To treat this condition effectively, Daktarin Gel can be applied to the affected area.
• Jock itch (Tinea cruris): It is a fungal infection in the groin area and inner thighs. Daktarin Gel can relieve itching, burning, and discomfort associated with jock itch and aid in the healing process.
• Ringworm (Tinea corporis): It is a fungal infection that can affect various body parts, including the arms, legs, and trunk. Daktarin Gel can be used to treat ringworm and alleviate the itching, scaling, and burning sensations.

• Reverse the cap and pierce the protective seal on the tube.
• Clean the affected area and dry it thoroughly. 
• Apply a thin layer of the product over the affected area.
• Place the cap tightly after use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel.
• Avoid getting the gel in your mouth or eyes.

Daktarin Gel is applied topically to the affected area. It is meant for external use only and should not be taken orally.

Daktarin Gel contains the following component:

• Miconazole nitrate (2%): It is an antifungal that inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal cells, effectively treating fungal skin infections.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep Daktarin Gel away from children.

• Wash the affected area daily with mild soap and water, then thoroughly dry it.
• After showering or bathing, ensure you dry your skin completely, paying extra attention to the areas between toes or skin folds.
• Choose moisture-wicking fabrics for underwear and socks to help keep the affected areas dry.
• Tight clothing can trap moisture, creating an environment conducive to fungal growth. Opt for loose-fitting attire, especially in the affected areas.
• As your doctor recommends, apply antifungal powders or sprays to help keep the area dry and inhibit fungal growth.
• Do not share towels, socks, or other personal items that come into contact with the affected areas to prevent the spread of infection.
• Keep your feet clean and dry, especially between the toes.
• Change shoes and socks regularly, and allow your shoes to air out between uses.
