Lupride 1 mg Injection is a prescription medication commonly used to manage and treat various conditions related to sex hormones in males and females. This injection is frequently used to treat advanced prostate cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids.
In precocious puberty, where puberty begins too early in children, this injection is used to delay the onset of puberty. If left untreated, these children may have diminished adult height.
Lupride Injection may also be prescribed for breast cancer treatment, premenopausal ovarian suppression (lowering the amount of oestrogen made by the ovaries), management of other sex hormone-related conditions, and infertility treatment in females.
The composition of Lupride 1 mg Injection includes Leuprolide acetate (1mg). It is generally safe when used under medical supervision. However, patients with osteoporosis, vaginal bleeding, diabetes, and those taking other medications should inform their doctor before taking this injection.
