About Prograf 0.5 MG Capsule 50

Prograf 0.5mg Capsule is used to prevent your body from rejecting a newly transplanted organ (such as the liver, kidney, or heart). It accomplishes this by weakening your body's immune system, preventing it from attacking the new organ. Immunosuppressants are a type of medicine that suppresses the immune system. The dose and frequency with which you take Prograf 0.5mg Capsule is determined by the type of transplant you have, your body weight, and any other medicines you are taking. Carefully follow your doctor's recommendations. Prograf 0.5mg Capsule should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. To obtain the most benefit from this medicine, take it on a regular basis and continue to take it even if you feel better. You may raise your chances of your transplanted organ rejecting if you stop taking it. The adverse effects of Prograf 0.5mg Capsule are numerous. It has the potential to develop or exacerbate diabetes, as well as renal and liver disorders. These require immediate medical intervention. Nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and difficulty sleeping are all frequent adverse effects. Tell your doctor if the side effects do not go away or get worse. Prograf 0.5mg Capsule suppresses your immune system, making you more prone to illnesses. If you have kidney, liver, or heart issues, diabetes, or high blood pressure, tell your doctor before using Prograf 0.5mg Capsule. Also, tell your doctor about any other medicines you're taking, notably antibiotics, pain relievers, and arthritis medicines. These and other factors may influence or be influenced by this medicine. Because immunosuppressants may raise your risk of skin cancer, you should minimise your exposure to the sun and UV (ultraviolet) light while taking it. Use of Prograf 0.5mg Capsule during pregnancy may be dangerous. Animal research have demonstrated negative effects on the growing foetus, despite the lack of human studies. Before prescribing it to you, your doctor will consider the advantages as well as any potential hazards. Please seek medical advice. Using Prograf 0.5mg Capsule during breastfeeding is probably not a good idea. The medicine may transfer into breastmilk and harm the newborn, according to limited human research. Take Prograf 0.5mg Capsule as soon as possible if you miss a dose. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses. To avoid pregnancy, both men and women who use this medicine should use an effective birth control method. Unless it is obviously essential, this drug is not typically suggested during pregnancy or breastfeeding. You will require many medical tests before and during treatment to assess your progress, and your blood pressure will need to be checked frequently.
