Sebonac 1 % Gel 30 GM

Sebonac gel is used for the following purposes:

• Acne treatment: It is highly effective in treating acne by reducing inflammation, unclogging pores, and preventing the formation of new acne lesions.
• Blemish treatment: This gel can help fade discoloured spots on the skin, improving the overall appearance and texture.
• Skin redness reduction: It can reduce skin redness associated with acne, providing a more even complexion.
• Corn and callus treatment (Hard, thick patches of skin that can occur as a result of injury, pressure, or friction): It can help soften and remove thickened layers of skin, providing relief from corns and calluses.

To achieve optimal results with Sebonac gel, following the recommended directions for use is essential. 

• Before applying the gel, cleanse the affected area with a mild cleanser and pat it dry.
• Take a small amount of the gel and apply a thin layer to the affected area.
• Gently massage the gel into the skin using circular motions until fully absorbed.
• Avoid applying the gel near the eyes, lips, mouth, and broken or irritated skin.
• Sebonac gel can increase sensitivity to sunlight. It is essential to use sunscreen and protective clothing while using this gel. If sun exposure is unavoidable, apply the gel in the evening.

Sebonac gel is applied topically. 

Salicylic acid (1 % W/V) - It is a key ingredient known for its comedolytic and anti-inflammatory properties. When applied to the skin, salicylic acid penetrates the affected area and helps to unclog pores by removing dead skin cells and excess oil. 

To ensure the stability and effectiveness of Sebonac gel, it is essential to store it correctly. Follow these storage instructions:

• Store Sebonac gel at room temperature, between 15°C and 25°C.
• Protect the gel from light and moisture.
• Keep the gel out of the reach of children.
• Do not use this medication after the expiry date has passed.

In addition to using Sebonac gel, specific diet and lifestyle modifications can help improve your skin's overall health and appearance. Consider incorporating the following practices:

• Be cautious with other skincare products you use alongside Sebonac gel. Avoid harsh cleansers, astringents, or products containing alcohol. 
• Due to increased skin sensitivity to sunlight, use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher during the day when using this Gel. Limit sun exposure and consider protective clothing and a wide-brimmed hat.
• Combat dryness and irritation by using a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturiser.
• Avoid waxing the treated areas while using this gel, as it can lead to skin peeling and increased irritation. Shaving is a better option for hair removal if necessary.
