Biqol Mouth Wash 500ml

Biqol Mouth Wash 500ml is used for providing effective relief from discomfort and inflammation in the mouth and throat. Featuring benzydamine hydrochloride as its primary ingredient, this mouthwash works by forming a protective coating over sore and irritated areas. This coating helps soothe affected tissues and may promote a reduction in pain and inflammation. By blocking specific chemical messengers involved in the pain response, it targets discomfort associated with various conditions, including mouth ulcers oral mucositis and irritation from dental procedures. Its non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory formula offers localised relief and enhances comfort.

• Benzydamine Hydrochloride: This active ingredient is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its dual action in pain relief and inflammation reduction. Benzydamine Hydrochloride works by inhibiting the production of specific chemical substances, known as prostaglandins, that contribute to pain, redness and swelling. This helps alleviate the discomfort associated with various oral conditions such as mouth ulcers, sore gums and oral mucositis. Additionally, Benzydamine Hydrochloride has a local anaesthetic effect, which helps numb the affected areas in the mouth and throat. It is effective in providing targeted relief and supporting the healing process by reducing irritation and promoting a soothing effect on inflamed tissues.
   
• Other ingredients: Flavoured aqueous base and Colours (Tartrazine and Brilliant Blue FCF).

• Rinse or gargle with 15ml solution for 20-30 secs every 1-3 hours or as required for relief or as directed by the Physician.
