Docusate sodium, Iron, and Folic Acid are all found in Softeron capsules (vitamin B9). Folic acid is required for a variety of biological activities, including nucleotide production and homocysteine remethylation. During periods of fast cell division and expansion, it is extremely critical. Folic acid is required for the production of healthy red blood cells and the prevention of anaemia in both children and adults. Iron distributes oxygen throughout the body and keeps red blood cells healthy, resulting in increased energy and the prevention of anaemia. Iron supplements may cause constipation, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, or upset stomach. As a result, docusate sodium has been added to prevent constipation. Docusate sodium is a stool softener that helps with constipation (irregularity) and usually results in a bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours.
