Brimont-T Eye Drops interact with the following medicines:

• Prostaglandin analogues: Concurrent use with prostaglandin analogues like latanoprost can alter the intraocular pressure-lowering effects.
• Alpha agonists: Combining timolol with alpha agonists like brimonidine can lead to an additive effect on lowering intraocular pressure, which might necessitate dosage adjustments.
• Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors: When used with other topical carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as dorzolamide, there may be an additive effect in reducing intraocular pressure.
• Miotics: Using timolol with miotics like pilocarpine can enhance the intraocular pressure-lowering effect.
• Topical steroids: Long-term use of topical steroids such as prednisolone with timolol can reduce the efficacy of timolol in lowering intraocular pressure.

• Diabetes: Timolol can mask the symptoms of hypoglycaemia, such as rapid heartbeat, making it harder to recognise low blood sugar levels. Diabetic patients should monitor their blood glucose levels closely.
• Hyperthyroidism: Timolol can mask the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, such as a rapid heart rate, potentially delaying diagnosis and treatment. Patients with hyperthyroidism should be monitored for thyroid function.
• Myasthenia Gravis: Timolol may exacerbate muscle weakness in patients with myasthenia gravis, leading to increased symptoms. Close monitoring and consultation with a healthcare provider are essential.

Instil Brimont-T Eye Drops daily as your doctor prescribes. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as age, severity of the condition, and response to treatment.

In case of accidental overdose, rinse your eyes immediately. No harm is expected, but consult your doctor for guidance if concerns persist.

If you miss a dose of Brimont-T Eye Drops, instil it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
