• Bacterial Vaginosis (BV): Bacterial vaginosis is a common vaginal infection caused by an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina. It occurs when harmful bacteria outnumber the normal, healthy bacteria in the vagina. This imbalance can lead to symptoms such as a thin, greyish-white vaginal discharge, vaginal odour, especially after sexual intercourse, mild itching or irritation in the vaginal area, and a higher pH level in the vagina. Cansoft-CL Suppository is commonly prescribed for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis. It helps eliminate the bacteria causing the infection and alleviates associated symptoms such as abnormal discharge, odour, and itching.
• Vulvovaginal Candidiasis (VVC): Vulvovaginal candidiasis, commonly known as a yeast infection, is a fungal infection that affects the vagina and vulva. It is caused by an overgrowth of the Candida yeast species, most commonly Candida albicans. Symptoms of vulvovaginal candidiasis include itching, burning sensation, redness, swelling, and a thick and white vaginal discharge. Some individuals may also experience discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse or urination. Cansoft-CL Suppository is effective against vulvovaginal candidiasis. It targets the Candida fungus to alleviate vaginal itching, burning, and abnormal discharge.
• Mixed Vaginal Infections: In cases where there is a mixed infection involving both bacteria and fungi, Cansoft-CL Suppository can be prescribed. It addresses both types of pathogens, providing comprehensive treatment for the infection.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the suppository.
• Choose a comfortable position, such as lying on your back with your knees bent or standing with one foot on a chair.
• Remove the suppository from the packaging.
• Gently insert the suppository into the vagina using the applicator provided or your finger. Push it as far as it comfortably goes.
• Dispose the applicator or wash it thoroughly for reuse.
• Rewash your hands after insertion.

Dosage information

Daily Dose

The recommended daily dose of the Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository is one suppository inserted once a day before sleep. Overdose

If you or someone else takes an excessive amount of the Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include irritation, itching and a burning sensation.

Missed Dose 

You may take the missed dose of the Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository as soon as you remember, but if it's almost time for the next dose, skip it and continue with your regular dosing schedule; do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

It targets bacteria that can cause vaginal infections, such as bacterial vaginosis (BV). By suppressing these bacteria's growth, Clindamycin helps restore the normal balance of microorganisms in the vagina.
• Clotrimazole, another active ingredient in Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository, is an antifungal medication that belongs to the azole class. It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By interfering with ergosterol production, Clotrimazole weakens the fungal cell wall, leading to the death of the fungus. Clotrimazole is effective against Candida species of fungi responsible for causing vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) or yeast infections.
