It fights illnesses including athlete's foot, jock itch, thrush, ringworm, and dry, flaky skin by destroying the fungus that causes them. Daktarin Gel should be used according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. To obtain the best benefit from this medicine, it should be used on a regular basis. Do not use more than you require; doing so will not improve your condition and may even worsen the adverse effects. After 2 to 6 weeks, most skin infections will be gone. Use the medicine just as directed by your doctor, and notify him or her if your condition does not improve after 2 to 6 weeks of treatment. Keeping the infected region clean and dry, as well as washing hands before and after treating the infection, will help the drug work better.
