Acetylcysteine (600 Mg)

Mucinac 600 Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called mucolytics. It is used to loosen mucus and to provide ease in coughing up in cases of respiratory diseases with viscous mucus.

Mucinac 600 Tablet is used in the respiratory diseases with viscous mucous such as:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Bronchial asthma
Cystic fibrosis

Directions for Use of Mucinac 600 MG Eff Tablet 10

As it is an effervescent tablet, dissolve the tablet in a glass of water and drink it immediately.
Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Mucinac 600 Tablet should be taken orally.

The common side effects of Mucinac 600 Tablet include:

Abdominal discomfort
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Heartburn
Dizziness

Antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, and doxycycline. This medicine can prevent antibiotics from working properly. If you are taking antibiotics, make sure you take this medicine two hours before or after taking your antibiotics.
Other cough medicines should not be used at the same time as this medicine, as it may affect the effectiveness of this tablet.
Medicines used to treat angina attacks, such as nitroglycerin. This medicine may increase the blood pressure-lowering effect of nitroglycerin.
Medicines to treat high blood pressure, such as ACE inhibitors. Mucinac 600 Tablet may increase the blood pressure-lowering effect of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Medicines used to treat poisoning, such as activated charcoal. The concomitant use of Mucinac 600 Tablet can reduce the effect of activated charcoal.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome: This tablet might worsen the skin reactions in case of this syndrome.
Lyell syndrome: This tablet might worsen the skin reactions in case of this syndrome.

Over Dose
